WASHINGTON PARLIAMENTARY INTELLIGENCE-SECURITY FORUM
“At a time when security issues are becoming increasingly complex, the need for consistent debates
that bring together defense and intelligence specialists and decision-makers from around the world
is pressing. In response to this need, the Parliamentary Intelligence Security Forum event gives us
the opportunity to think about the world’s challenges in an integrated way, focusing on solutions to
make our nations safer, stronger, and more resilient.
As well as being a robust event in terms of the quality of content, it is an ideal networking context
for all parliamentarians to have the opportunity to debate these issues alongside experts.”
Hon. Cristian Băcanu, MP – Romania
Member of the Judicial Committee
Former State Secretary with the Ministry of Justice
“I was very blessed to have been invited to this special gathering of world leaders and United States
officials, and representatives of both The House and Senate. The meeting included Ambassadors
from many nations including the Americas, the European Union, Asia and Africa, more than 300 in
attendance, including the Prime Minister of Jamaica.
The conference addressed a variety of issues impacting world peace: wars among Nation States
and within Nation States, illicit finances, cyber security, global supply chains, energy security, human
trafficking, money laundering, cryptocurrency, stable currencies, adversarial foreign investments,
space forces, rare earth minerals and 5G, artificial intelligence and quantum computing. The
conference had many very knowledgeable speakers on the various topics.
The whole conference was an eye-opening experience for all of those attending. I am sure that my
appreciation for the United States hosting and arranging this conference is shared by every
attendee. I was truly blessed to be a part of it.”

posture of free countries around the world by facilitating and enhancing longstanding relationships
with our allies, informing parliamentarians and other legislative branch officials about important
issues of public policy relating to our collective economic and national security, and countering the
conventional and non-conventional threats posed by our adversaries, including China, Russia, Iran,
and North Korea.”
